Christi Kobald, PA-C, MMS

Christi Kobald PA-C, MMS has been a physician assistant since 2006, and has been with Frisco Spine since 2011. As a full scope neurosurgery physician assistant, she is entrusted with the treatment of Frisco Spine’s complex brain and spine patients. Her expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological disorders and diseases, as well as her surgical skills on the operating room, make her an outstanding physician assistant. Her specialty training benefits the patients at Frisco spine by enabling them to be seen in a timely manner, by a skilled non-physician provider. Her goal is to provide prompt and high-quality medical care to her patients. 

Christi has bachelor’s degrees in business management as well as physician assistant studies, and a master’s in medical science. She has only worked in neurological surgery, neuro-interventional radiology, and neurology since graduating from Nova Southeastern University’s master’s program. In addition to her knowledge of neurosurgical issues and their treatment, she has experience in vascular disorders of the brain and neuroaxis, and in treatment of chronic neurological disorders. 

She is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and re-certifies by examination every six years with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Additionally, she is a Member or Fellow of the following organizations: American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, Academy of Neurosurgical Physician Assistants.
